Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism supported by Aldingbourne Trust release their own England World Cup song.

Adults with learning disabilities and autism supported by Aldingbourne Trust have written, recorded and released their own England World Cup anthem, It's Gonna Be Us, for this summer's World Cup 2026.

Created through Aldingbourne Country Centre's Performing Arts Group, the original song combines a passion for football, music and teamwork, giving the people involved the opportunity to showcase their talents on a national stage while cheering on England's journey in the tournament.

The project saw participants involved throughout the creative process, from writing lyrics and recording vocals to starring in the official music video. Parts of the video were filmed at Sussex FA's recent inclusive football tournament, highlighting the important role sport plays in bringing communities together.

The song reflects the excitement many of the people supported by Aldingbourne Trust feel about football and the World Cup, while demonstrating the confidence, skills and creativity that can flourish when people are given the opportunity to shine.

It's Gonna Be Us is available now on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, where football fans are encouraged to watch, listen and share ahead of England's World Cup campaign.

Adam Pattenden, Digital Marketing Officer at Aldingbourne Trust said:

"What started as a fun idea quickly grew into a full scale music video project. The people we support were involved every step of the way, from developing ideas to performing on camera. It's been incredible to see their enthusiasm, creativity and pride throughout the process. Projects like this give people the chance to express themselves, work together and be part of something exciting. We hope football fans enjoy the song as much as we enjoyed creating it. As the chorus says, It's Gonna Be Us!"

The project forms part of Aldingbourne Country Centre's ongoing commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping people build confidence, develop skills and share their talents with the wider community.

Matt Swanson, Deputy Manager at Aldingbourne Country Centre, added:

"The people we support are huge England fans and have loved putting their creativity and passion into this project. The song was created and performed by our Performing Arts Group and recorded here at the centre by Mike at Fryed Music. Everyone has been energised by bringing this catchy song to life and we're incredibly proud of what they've achieved”

Members of the Performing Arts Group also shared their experience of creating the song:

"We loved every minute of making the song. It was brilliant to work together, share ideas and show our support for England. Recording the track was an amazing experience and we're proud to be sharing something we hope brings people together. We'd love to do more projects like this in the future."

The song and accompanying music video have already received positive feedback online, with supporters praising the group's enthusiasm, talent and infectious energy.
