The new charging points are now available for visitors, staff and the wider local community, helping us improve the facilities we offer while also creating a valuable additional income stream that will be reinvested directly back into supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism across West Sussex.
Alicia Gooderson, Chief Operating Officer at Aldingbourne Country Centre, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Hydra for their support and generosity. Sustainability and accessibility are both incredibly important to us, and these new EV chargers are a fantastic addition to the Country Centre for our visitors, staff and local community. “What made this partnership so valuable was the fact there were no upfront costs or ongoing operational responsibilities for the charity. The additional income generated will go straight back into supporting the people we’re here for every day.” Chris Davis, Commercial and Operations Manager at Aldingbourne Country Centre, added: “The Hydra team were approachable, supportive and professional throughout the entire process. They clearly take pride in the work they do, and the finished installation is something that will make a lasting difference to our site. We’d like to sincerely thank them for their partnership and support.” Everyone at the Aldingbourne Trust looks forward to seeing the positive impact the chargers will have for both the charity and the wider community for years to come.
