This vital community gathering in Victoria Park, Portsmouth, is dedicated to raising awareness about suicide prevention, providing hope and support to those in distress, and helping those affected by suicide. Join us for a day of conversation, support, and healing.
​In response to rising concerns about suicide rates, "Let’s Get Talking About Suicide" is committed to delivering the key aims of the National Suicide Strategy. By fostering city-wide leadership and creating a space for open dialogue, we aim to:

  • Raise Awareness: Shine a light on the critical issue of suicide, its impact, and ways to prevent it.
  • Offer Support: Provide information, resources, and direct support to those affected by or at risk of suicide.
  • Build Community: Unite health professionals, community organizations, and individuals to create a supportive network.
​This free public event will bring together a wide range of community, health, and support organizations in an accessible and welcoming environment.
