A silver birch in the historic Hotham Park has been chosen as the location for a Celebration of Life Tree Seat which will feature messages from the public on engraved leaf plaques. Customers will have a choice of either a serrated chestnut plaque, or a round-edged oak plaque in either silver or gold laminate material. A message can be dedicated to a loved one or to celebrate a special occasion by an inscription engraved onto the leaf plaque. |
The Tree Seat Scheme
The Celebration of Life Tree Seat in Hotham Park, Bognor Regis is the perfect opportunity to celebrate any life events by purchasing a chestnut or oak plaque with a special message engraved. Just like the Long Bench in Littlehampton the plaques celebrate birthdays, weddings, special events as well as local achievements and triumphs. Many commemorate a loved one and invoke memories of happy times in the area.
The plaques will be dedicated for a ten-year period, with the option to re-adopt for a further five years.
You can buy a plaque and specify your own individual message that will be engraved. The plaque space is yours for a period of 10 years through our plaque licensing scheme – plaques cost £240 inc VAT and can be engraved with up to 120 characters (including spaces) in total. The scheme is managed through the wood department at the Aldingbourne Country Centre and people we support with a learning disability and/ or autism are actively involved in fitting your plaque and maintaining the tree seat.
