Projects
The Aldingbourne Trust is an innovative charity and we have a wide variety of projects where we support adults with learning disablities and / or autism to develop their skills.
Adopt a Station
Since 2007 the Aldingbourne Trust's award winning Community Team has worked in partnership with Southern Railway to successfully deliver their “Adopt a Station” project. Supported by over 30 volunteers, they maintain & create stunning floral displays in over 30 of Southern Railway’s stations and are still expanding. Working to brighten the overall impression of the stations means individuals learn valuable life and work skills like team work, time-keeping, independent travel and work ethics. The end results stand as a great advertisement for the contribution adults with learning disabilities can make to the wider community. We get many compliments from travellers and are pleased to make train journeys bright & beautiful. For more information please contact [email protected]g |
