Through our carefully considered programmes individuals are enabled to develop skills and add value to their community, including our own social enterprises. There are many variations on the work that our members can take part in and their achievements are remarkable.

Wood@Aldingbourne
Wood collection service reducing waste wood to landfill. Supplying building materials and creating amazing wooden gifts with recycled wood are just some of the things adults with learning disabilities help to achieve in our wood businesses.

The Long Bench at Littlehampton is thought to be the longest bench in Britain. We are proud to offer the Long Bench Slat Scheme, a wonderful opportunity for you to make your mark on the seafront with a message.

Tree Seat Scheme
A silver birch in the historic Hotham Park has been chosen as the location for a Celebration of Life Tree Seat which will feature messages from the public on engraved leaf plaques.

Make@Aldingbourne
We have recently developed enterprises in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The people we support develop skills within catering, retail, upcycling and are making friendships whilst having active social lives.

Gig Buddies
Gig Buddies Portsmouth is a project apart of the Aldingbourne Trust which is a free scheme funded by the Portsmouth City Council to match a volunteer and adult with a learning disability in Portsmouth.

We are delighted that from 1st February 2020, Aldingbourne Equine Laundry (AEL) have taken over Aldingbourne Laundry services and will operate from the same premises at the Aldingbourne Country Centre. The team behind AEL have many years of experience operating laundries based on excellent service and good value.
