Andrew, Ellie and a group of friends who are supported by the Aldingbourne Trust are looking to fundraise to improve their facilities at the Aldingbourne Country Centre, by holding a series of sponsored events in which they plan to walk the equivalent of Lands’ End to John O’Groats between them this summer. The first sponsored event is a walk from the centre across local countryside and up the hill to Halnaker Windmill, taking place on May 20th.

The Trust were delighted to receive grants from the Garfield Weston Foundation, F G Woodger Trust, Cullum Family Trust, Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust, Baily Thomas Charitable Fund and the Lawson Charitable Trust to improve their building facilities for the people supported at the Centre, and they would now like to make their own improvements to two special garden areas. They are now fundraising to build an outdoor stage in the Café Garden to enable them to put on their own live shows and performances and also to develop a reflective memorial garden in which to remember their friends who are no longer with them

If you are interested grant funding one of the projects and perhaps having the new Theatre Stage named after your organisation, please contact Abigail Rowe at [email protected]
