THOUSANDS of visitors made Easter busy at the Aldingbourne Country Centre.
The large turnout made for an amazing atmosphere at the site north of the A27.
New activities such as sand and water play opened to create a booming time at the centre, run by the Aldingbourne Trust charity.

The most popular event was the children's wipe out. THis attracted more than 1,500 people. The total number for the two-week Easter break came to 9,000-plus. One of those who visited was Melissa Ross. She said her family had thoroughly enjoyed themselves. "We came to the Easter funday and we had a brilliant day," she said. "The kids had great fun with loads to do. "The cafe is great, the food was delicious, well priced with friendly, helpful staff." Another of the happy customers was Joelle Chanley. She said: "Even though it was one of the busiest days, it was just lovely. "A huge thank you to all the volunteers patiently assisting children on bouncy castles."
The programme included a range of events. It featured bounce about days,
,reptile days, splash about and falconry.

The trust's work is to help people with learning disabilities live more fulfilled lives and become more independent.
